I say "appear" because I just may be missing something.Īny assistance that anhone could provide would be greatly appreciated. My question is - Is there any way to incorporate both MSB and LSB into one click - allowing for easier patch selection within the XV-5080?Īs I mentioned, what I have seen available on the site thus far does not "appear" to work. Cubase does this in one click of the mouse, which is much easier to access than what is presently available in Reaper. I am not sure where else to turn? At present it seems that both the LSB and the MSB need to be selected in turn, then to load the patch. ![]() However, the MIDI hardware support really seems "poor to none"! I have scoured the forums over the past few days and though there are some items there that attempt to do what programs like Cubase and Sonar already do - Reaper "seems" to seriously falls short. This also intereseted me with regards to Reaper. Now, I dont actually own a Fantom X (yet), so forgive my ignorance, but I have a few questions: 1. I consider myself a "weekend" warrior programmer - but someone who is also very detail oriented in my methodologies. So I was browsing the Roland US website, checking out the Fantom X, and I found a download link for original XV-5080 patches that have been ported over to the X. Reaper looks like a product that is small, fast and has lots of potential and interest. There are many things I like about SX3 - but there are also many things that I do NOT like. I presently use Cubase SX3 and am really looking for another DAW. In fact, it was for the control surface support that I took an interest in Reaper in the first place. Shame on me.I am new to the forums and of the equipment that I have, my main hardware devices are the Roland XV-5080 and Yamaha 01x. I was shocked to see Roland had added the JV-1080 and XV-5080 to Roland Cloud – and they apparently did so all the way back in 2017. ![]() I briefly checked out Roland Cloud when it first came out, but didn’t end up keeping it because there weren’t many useful sounds for the stuff I was working on. ![]() Now that I’m all settled in and comfortable in Tokyo, I had the perfect excuse to pick up a used Roland XV-5080 or a new Roland INTEGRA-7.ĭuring my eBay research process, I stumbled upon Roland Cloud – Roland’s subscription VST product featuring digital recreations of a variety of iconic instruments. Fast forward to 2020 – I was so excited to be able to work on a project that called for some classic Roland rompler goodness. Unfortunately, I chose to sell everything before moving because it didn’t make sense to move to a new country with a rack case and a gigantic keyboard workstation. Before moving to Tokyo, I owned a Yamaha MOTIF XF8 and Roland XV-5050. ![]() Meanwhile, there is the possibility of more allocations for infrastructure-linked projects “And thirdly, the implementation of a tax identification number (TIN), as well as reviewing tax treatment that is identified as having elements of revenue leakage or harmful practices,“ it said.Ī comprehensive review of the tax incentive framework is also underway to ensure that tax incentives offered to foreign and local investors remain relevant to the current business landscape while continuing to maintain the country’s competitiveness in attracting quality investments. However, in its pre-budget statement, the MoF did mention that the government is considering measures to increase tax revenue through increased tax compliance. ![]() In terms of tax revenue, although there have been calls for the government to look into the imposition of windfall and capital gains taxes, or reintroduce the goods and services tax (GST), experts have reckoned that new taxes are unlikely to be rolled out in Budget 2022 as the uncertainty surrounding the Covid-19 situation locally and globally could affect Malaysia’s economic growth stability. “Perhaps the upcoming budget announcement would shed more light on how the government plans to reduce the budget gap, given that the 12MP has indicated a fiscal shortfall of 3.0 to 3.5 percent of the GDP by 2025, as opposed to the 2022 estimates of 6.5 to 7.0 percent,“ Bank Islam chief economist Mohd Afzanizam Abdul Rashid told Bernama earlier. ![]() ![]() The government is also expected to further assist the sectors worst affected by the pandemic, such as tourism, retail, and micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).Ĭontinuous efforts to upskill and reskill the workers are also seen, as well as protecting and generating new job opportunities for the people. The budget gap is equivalent to 6.5 percent of GDP next year, smaller than an estimated 7 per cent of GDP for this year,” they said in a research note. “This will be partly cushioned by an estimated revenue collection of RM230 billion, leaving a fiscal shortfall of RM107.3billion for 2022.
